The Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMT) is a physical therapy evaluation and treatment method for the extremities and spine musculoskeletal disorders, based on the manual therapy and built on the gained training and experience on traditional physical therapy, osteopathy, quiropraxy and orthopaedic and sports medicine.

Duration. 300 hours (30 credits) each level
Structure. Divided in two levels:
- OMT First Level (Postgraduate title)
- OMT Second Level (Master title)
Modalities. Two options:
- Intensive Model (during the summer, approximatelly one month long)
- Extended Model (14 weekends along the academic year)
Capacity. 40 students
Price. 1.800 € each level

Program and contents
The whole training of OMT Master has 600 on-site hours (60 credicts).
From those 600 hours, each level has 300 hours (30 credits).
The 600 hours are divided in 160 theoretical and 440 practical hours.
First level
- History and basis of the Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMT)
- Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMT) biomechanics and methodology
- Manual Physical Therapy applied to:
- Lower limbs
- Upper limbs
- Lower spine
- Upper spine
- Muscle functional training-rehabilitation
- Image examination in Applied Manual Physical Therapy (I)
- Manual Physical Therapy Applied to the clinical practice (I)
Second Level
- Advanced Manual Physical Therapy:
- Extremities and lower trunk
- Extremities and upper trunk
- Peripheral joint and lower trunk joint manipulations
- Upper trunk joint manipulations. TMJ
- Image examination in Applied Manual Physical Therapy (II)
- Manual Physical Therapy Applied to the clinical practice (II)
